LEARNING STYLES IN POST-INTERMEDIATE SPEAKING CLASS:

The objectives of this research are to describe how the students use their preferred learning styles and investigate students’ reasons for using in Post-Intermediate Speaking class. first finding showed that communicative concrete style was used by 17 students, 9 analytical 3 1 student. second who applied felt convenient being active-independent persons, matched with way they learn, liked learn speaking social approach, enjoyed because belonged active-dependent reading answering comprehension questions; enjoy watch English program on TV, playing games, new words putting them into sentences, questions, trying say things different ways when do not understand time, books pictures; correcting own mistakes, thinking better English, copying sentences from a book, working problems given lecturer, function expressions, newspaper; real life situation condition, groups classroom, mistakes lecturer.
